Alan van der Merwe joined Carlin for two seasons in the British Formula 3 Championship - becoming the 2003 champion with the team. He would advance through F3000 and the A1 GP Series in the following seasons of his career. He later to this day, has become renowned for his duties as the FIA Medical Car Driver in Formula One.

Antonio Felix da Costa was a two-time Macau Grand Prix winner with Carlin in Formula 3 - excelling with the team in every discipline he competed in. Since then, he graduated into FIA Formula E - becoming champion in 2020.

Antonio Giovinazi raced with Carlin for two seasons in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The Italian developed with the team into a championship contender, finishing 2nd overall in the 2015 Championship and winning the Masters of Formula 3 Championship. Antonio graduated into Formula One in 2018 with Alfa Romeo, where he remains today.

Bruno Senna, nephew of the late-great Ayrton, joined Carlin for the 2004 Formula BMW UK Championship as he made his debut in single-seaters. In the following years, Bruno would graduate through the motorsport ladder, finishing 2nd in the 2008 GP2 Series and eventually reach Formula One. After four seasons, he moved into Formula E and the WEC - winning the LMP2 Championship in 2017 and finished 2nd in the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Carlos Sainz Jr joined Carlin in 2012 for an extensive F3 programme. He returned in 2013 for the Macau GP. Sainz Jr has gone on to have an impressive career in Formula since then, racing for Toro Rosso, Renault, McLaren and Scuderia Ferrari.

Chilton began his career with Carlin in 2009 in the British F3 Championship. Chilton claimed two British F3 victories that season, beating team mate Daniel Ricciardo in a competitive field. Chilton returned to Carlin in 2011 for the team's first season in the GP2 Series, staying with Carlin again in 2012 where he won in Hungary and Singapore. Chilton drove in F1 in 2013 and 2014 before returning to Carlin in 2015 to test the US racing scene in Indy Lights, claiming his first win on an oval in the process. Chilton moved up to INDYCAR in 2016, joining Carlin's new INDYCAR team in 2018. Chilton is one of few professional drivers to have raced in the Monaco GP, Indy 500 and Le Mans 24hrs.

Daniel Ricciardo was an instant favourite within Carlin, as he took the 2009 British Formula 3 Championship title with 7 wins and 13 podiums. The likeable Aussie since then graduated to Formula One, taking race victories with Red Bull Racing- including a prestigious win at the Monaco Grand Prix in 2016.

Danil Kvyat competed with Carlin in the 2013 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The Russian driver was immediately successful taking five pole positions, seven podiums and a victory for the team. Since then he has scored 3 podiums in Formula 1 with Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Davidson finished second in the 2001 British F3 championship, taking six wins to challenge team mate Takuma Sato for the title. He also claimed pole position and victory at the prestigious Pau Grand Prix and finished third at the F3 Masters in Zandvoort. Davidson went on to race in F1 as well as fulfilling the role of F1 test driver. A competitive career in Endurance Racing followed, including numerous competitive appearances at the Le Mans 24h and the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Felipe Nasr has enjoyed numerous stints with Carlin. 2011 saw the Brazilian win the British Formula 3 Championship with the team, before reuniting with Carlin for the GP2 Series - where he finished 3rd overall in 2014. After two seasons in Formula One with Sauber, he now competes in IMSA which frequently partners the INDYCAR Series.

Herta moved to the UK aged 14 to join Carlin, turning 15 just before the start of the 2015 British F4 season (formerly MSA Formula). Herta finished third overall after challenging team mate and eventual champion Lando Norris with a late season run of form. Herta graduated to the EuroFromula Open Championship in 2016, claiming four wins in his rookie season. A moved back to the US in 2017 saw him race in Indy Lights, finishing as vice-champion in 2018. Herta became the youngest ever race winner in his debut season of IndyCar in 2019 and by 2020 was a championship contender.

Jaime Alguersuari joined Carlin as a Red Bull Junior Team backed driver. He proved triumphant in the 2008 British Formula 3 Championship, becoming the youngest winner in championship history. Since then, he graduated into Formula One with Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2009, before a brief stint in Formula E in 2015 later in his career.

Jean-Eric Verge raced with Carlin in the British F3 and Formula Renault 3.5 Series - winning the former and finishing 2nd in the latter as he moved onto Formula One with Scuderia Toro Rosso. Since then, Verge has become to two-time FIA Formula E Champion.

Josef Newgarden competed with Carlin in the 2010 GP3 Series, where he managed to achieve a pole position with the team in his maiden season in the series. Since his junior career, Josef is a successful graduate of the Road to Indy programme, as he reached the INDYCAR Series. Since his arrival, he has become a two-time series champion, winning the title in the 2017 and 2019 seasons.

Kevin Magnussen joined Carlin in 2011 for the British Formula 3 Championship. The quick Dane took 7 race wins on his way to Vice-Champion in the series. He soon became a McLaren Young Driver and graduated into Formula One in 2014. Kevin took a podium on his debut and has since competed with Renault and Haas in his Formula One career.

Lando Norris spent his entire junior career with Carlin, becoming British F4 and European FIA Formula 3 Champion in the process - leading up to his promotion to Formula 1 with McLaren

Nico Rosberg joined Carlin for the 2004 Macau Grand Prix, where he led the race in the early stages. Since then, he won the 2005 GP2 Series - earning a graduation to Formula One with Williams. 2010 saw him move to the Mercedes Formula One Team - where six years later, he clinched the World Championship, before announcing his shock retirement from the sport.

Robert Kubica joined Carlin for the 2005 Macau Grand Prix, finishing 2nd on his debut at the iconic circuit. Since then, Robert won the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and moved into Formula One with BMW Sauber. He took a victory and numerous podiums, before a serious Rally crash halted his career. He returned to F1 with Williams in 2019 and now races in the DTM and WEC.

Sebastian Vettel is the most successful graduate to race with Carlin. He joined Carlin in the Formula Renault 3.5 series - impressing immediatley and moving into championship contention after a win, pole and fastest lap on his second weekend with the team. Later that season, he became a Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 driver - before moving onto win 4 Formula 1 World Championship between 2010-2013.

Sébastien Buemi competed with Carlin at the 2006 Macau Grand Prix, where he took P4 in a strong maiden run at the iconic race. Since then, he has graduated into Formula One and become champion in the World Endurance Championship, FIA Formula E and a 24 Hours of Le Mans winner.

Takuma Sato joined Carlin in British F3, winning the championship in his second season with the team, as well as the Macau Grand Prix and Masters of F3 Championship. Since then, the Honda backed driver had graduated to Formula One, scoring podiums with BAR Honda. He since moved to INDYCAR, making a name for himself as a Double INDY 500 winner.

Tiago Monteiro raced with Carlin in the 2004 World Series by Nissan Championship, where the Portugeuse driver took 2nd overall with 5 victories, 9 podiums and 4 pole positions. In his later career, he graduating to Formula One - scoring a podium with Jordan at the 2005 US Grand Prix. He later would become a multiple World Touring Car Champion, where he still races to this day.

Will Power raced with Carlin in the 2005 Formula Renault 3.5 Series, where the Australian scored 2 victories and 3 podiums with the team. Power would graduate to the INDYCAR Series in 2008 and has since become one of the most successful drivers in history - winning the 2014 Series and the 2018 INDY 500 Championship, as well as winning the most Road Course races in the series history.

Yuki Tsunoda joined Carlin as a Red Bull and Honda-backed Junior Driver in 2020. The Japanese driver proved from the start of his talent, as he took 3 victories, 7 podiums and 4 pole positions - on his way to 3rd overall in the standings as a Rookie. He graduated to Formula One in 2021, racing with Scuderia AlphaTauri.
