The weekend format includes a 20-minute qualifying session and three 20 minute races – testing is not limited like so many championship, and is also a common feature in the days leading up to the race weekend.
The GB3 car will experience a raft of changes for the 2022 season, all focused on performance and safety upgrades. A completely new chassis, provided by existing partner Tatuus will incorporate a halo, improved side-impact protection, revisions to the roll hoop, headrest, front anti-intrusion panel, seat and fuel cell areas. To complement more downforce, the new GB3 car will also feature a new two litre, four cylinder normally aspirated Mountune engine, to enable the unit to produce over 250bhp at 8500 rpm, a 20 bhp increase on the current car. To facilitate the increase in power, the car features a traditional side air-intake and carbon airbox as seen on traditional F3 cars.
In the line up for the 2024 is British F4 Champion Louis Sharp, Arthur Rogeon and Ugo Ugochuku.
2025 will see a brand new chassis introduced.
