FIA Formula 2

Racing on the Formula One support bill the FIA Formula 2 Championship is a highly respected category with a reputation for being a platform for taking drivers right to the pinnacle of motorsport – be that Formula One, Formula E or Indy Car.

Racing all over the world at some of the most highly respected circuits, including Monaco, the championship has become the place for drivers to showcase their talent.

In the formerly named GP2 Series, Carlin came second in the 2014 Championship – while the team’s driver Felipe Nasr moved straight from Carlin to the Sauber Formula One Team as one of the team’s drivers for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

As the top of the FIA’s junior motorsport ladder, the category is the perfect pinnacle to Rodin Motorsport's junior programmes.

Our 2020 race winner Yuki Tsunoda stepped straight from the team's F2 machinery into a Formula 1 race seat at AlphaTauri for the following season. Sauber Junior Zane Maloney and Toyota driver Ritomo Miyata make up the Rodin Motorsport's 2023 line-up.
