The 15-year-old joins the team for his first full season in single-seater racing after entering some rounds of the Spanish F4 Championship when he became old enough to compete. The Emirati driver immediately impressed.
Al Azhari joins the team fresh from his debut F4 Middle East campaign, which culminated in a strong showing at the Lusail International Circuit with a pole position and race win.
Jumping into the ROKIT British F4 Championship, Al Azhari will race on British shores in a single seater for the first time, taking on iconic tracks such as Silverstone and Brands Hatch, as well as an overseas trip to the home of the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort.
The Al Azhari name is one well known on the junior single seater ladder, with Adam’s brother Keanu also racing single seaters, with the brothers already having had the opportunity to share the grid together.
On joining the team, Al Azhari said,
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Rodin Motorsport’s British F4 Team. The team is experienced, hard-working, and passionate, and I am sure we will have a successful season, with lots of experience gained.”
Rodin Motorsport’s Sporting Director Benn Huntingford said,
“We are really pleased to bring Adam into the British F4 team. We have been really impressed with what we have seen so far in his career, and we’re excited to see what he can do here at Rodin Motorsport.”
