Following Friday’s Qualifying session, where Clerot qualified P7 and Badoer P8, post-session grid penalties promoted both drivers to the front row for the reverse-grid Sprint Race. Both drivers delivered composed performances throughout the race to secure a historic result, with the podium marking each driver’s third top-three finish of the 2026 season.
Reflecting on the Sprint Race, Brando Badoer said:
“Overall, it was a good race. We always want to win and we were very close today, but we have to look at the positives as we brought home some good points.”
Pedro Clerot added:
“Good race, I would say. The pace felt good, the car felt good, and I’m very happy for the team.”
Formula 3 Team Manager Sam Waple said:
“It’s a fantastic result for everyone involved. To secure our first-ever double podium since joining the championship in 2019 is something we’re really proud of and shows the direction the team is heading. We’ve been building towards results like this all season, so it’s rewarding to see that hard work paying off. It was also great to see Brando and Pedro racing each other hard but clean to bring home such an important result for the team.”
