Chloe Chong completes Rodin Motorsport’s F1 Academy lineup for 2025 Season

Date:
March 7, 2025
Team:
F1 Academy

Rodin Motorsport is delighted to confirm that British Chinese racer Chloe Chong will complete the teams' line up for the 2025 season of F1 Academy.

Chong will be supported by series partner Charlotte Tilbury, who will again link up with the Rodin Motorsport team after their successful debut in the series in 2024, running their iconic Hot Lips livery.

Chong returns to F1 Academy for her sophomore campaign, having been part of the series’ inaugural season in 2023, competing with Prema Racing in what was her first season in single seaters. Despite being the youngest driver in the series and stepping in with just a month’s notice, Chong showed her potential by taking sixth place at the season opener at the Red Bull Ring and three top-eight finishes during the final round in Austin.

The 17-year-old jumped to the well-regarded ROKIT British F4 series in 2024, debuting in mixed competition. Across the 30rounds of the series, Chong was given plenty of opportunity to refine her craft behind the wheel and gain skills which will serve her well in the upcoming F1Academy season.

Inspired by her idol, Sir Lewis Hamilton Chong took up karting in 2013. She started competing nationally in the UK before rising to the European level in 2021. Scouted for her talent, she was one off our finalists in the FIA Women In Motorsport ‘Girls on Track – Rising Stars’ which was held in Maranello, the base of Ferrari.

On joining the team, Chong said

“I’m super happy to be making a return to F1 ACADEMY this season and to be representing Charlotte Tilbury. When I was first introduced to the brand, I instantly felt at home with their ethos of championing the magic of confidence and big dreams in order to achieve goals. I truly believe in setting myself up for success; so joining the Charlotte Tilbury family feels just like that. Their brand story is beyond inspiring, and it’s something I would like to replicate on track. I am grateful for their support in my career and I can’t wait to shoot for the stars wearing their colours in the year ahead.”

Rodin Motorsport’s Sporting Director and F1Academy Team Manager Benn Huntingford said,

“We are really looking forward to working with Chloe during the upcoming F1 Academy season; her experience with the car and the series will prove invaluable to her teammates across the season.
She has shown great potential across F1 Academy and British F4, so we are eager to see what she can do with us!”

Chong joins previously announced McLaren driver Ella Lloyd and Sauber driver Emma Felbermayr in the team. The season opener of F1 Academy will commence in Shanghai on March 21st.
