Rodin Motorsport is pleased to confirm that British racer Freddie Slater joins the team for the penultimate round of the GB3 Championship at Donington Park this weekend. The British racer, who has tested with the team, will get behind the wheel of the Tatuus MSV-022 car for his debut in the Championship having already impressed in his junior career to date.
A rising star, Slater currently leads the Italian Formula Four Championship by a strong margin having already taken 11 race victories with two rounds yet to run. Prior to this, Slater had a stunning 2023 in the Ginetta Junior Championship securing an impressive 16 wins on his way to clinching the overall title. Turning 16 recently, Slater is now eligible to race in the GB3 Championship and will make the most of the experience having already spent time testing with the team – including most recently at Donington Park last week.
Slater replaces Ugo Ugochukwu who returns to his FRECA Championship commitments as had been previously agreed at the beginning of the season.
Slater said of joining Rodin Motorsport, “I’m excited to finally get to race in GB3 with a team like Rodin Motorsport. I really hope to bring in some good results for me and the team at Donington, and get things started in a good way!”

He tested with us last week at Donington Park and we already know he works brilliantly with the team so we can’t wait to get this first race weekend underway.”
