Alex Ninovic to continue with Rodin Motorsport in 2026, joining their FREC team

Continuing his progression with Rodin Motorsport, Alex Ninovic is set to join Rodin’s newly formed FIA Formula Regional European Championship team.

Recently claiming Champion in the GB3 Championship, Ninovic started his early career in karting, winning the Australian Junior title in 2021 and the Australian Senior title the following year. His impressive drive gaining him sponsorship from New Zealand-based Rodin Cars, backing his progression up to single seaters.

2023 saw the newly backed Rodin Cars driver make his single-seater debut on European soil in the Spanish F4 Championship. Finishing the season with a podium appearance, classifying P10 in the standings. His impressive debut, saw the Australian continuing with Rodin Motorsport in 2024, competing in the British F4 Championship where he would claim P2 in the driver standings. A result of an impressive five race wins and eighteen podium appearances throughout his rookie season.

Promoted to Rodin’s GB3 Championship team in 2025, Ninovic continued to impress the paddock claiming nine wins, ten pole positions and eleven podiums. Securing the championship title with one round remaining.

Impressed by the Australian’s adaptability and success, 2026 will see Ninovic continue his progression with the team, competing in FREC on some of the most prestigious circuits across Europe.
