Rodin Motorsport are pleased to confirm their entry into the FIA Formula Regional European Championship (FREC) for the 2026 season. The programme will expand the team’s existing commitments across FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, F1 Academy, GB3, F4 and represents the next step in strengthening the team’s pathway for young drivers.

FREC is widely regarded as one of the most competitive junior single-seater championships in the world, bridging the gap between Formula 4 and FIA Formula 3. By joining the grid, Rodin Motorsport will provide its drivers with a clear progression route through every stage of the ladder, from national F4 all the way to Formula 2.

The championship will also allow Rodin Motorsport to expand its European presence, racing on some of the continent’s most challenging circuits and competing against the strongest junior teams and drivers in the sport. With a proven track record of developing talent across multiple categories, the addition of FREC will further enhance the team’s ability to prepare drivers for the highest levels of single-seater racing.

Rodin Motorsport’s Sporting Director Benn Huntingford

“Entering the FIAFormula Regional European Championship is a natural step for Rodin Motorsport. FREC has become one of the most important proving grounds for young drivers and having a presence there means we can support our drivers at every stage of their development. We’re excited to take on this new challenge and to see the first group of Rodin drivers competing in the series from 2026.”

This announcement marks another milestone in Rodin Motorsport’s long-term commitment to building one of the most comprehensive driver development structures in junior motorsport. Further details on the team’s 2026 FREC driver line-up will be confirmed in due course.
