Stenshorne began his career in karting at the age of 10, taking victory in the WSK Master Series and the Italian Championship in 2018 as well as securing P2 in the WSK Champions Cup. Making his single-seater debut in 2022, he competed in the UAE, Italian and German Formula 4 Championships, before making history the following year as the first rookie to win a race in the Formula Regional European Championship on debut. He went on to secure five race wins that season - crowning him Vice Champion of the series.
In 2024, Stenshorne progressed to the FIA Formula 3 Championship, taking victory in Melbourne and a further two podiums throughout his debut season. His performance earned him a place on the McLaren Driver Development programme. A second F3 season in 2025 bought further success, including two wins and three additional podiums to finish fifth in the standings. He also gained valuable F2 experience with a debut outing in Baku where he made an impressive mark on the established grid to take P7 in Qualifying. The F2 rookie showed an immense level of potential and adaptability against an established grid.
Upon joining the team, Martinius Stenshorne said,
“I’m really excited to be joining Rodin Motorsport in the 2026 Formula 2 Championship. This is a big step forward in my career, and I’m grateful to the team for their trust and support. I can’t wait to get started in Abu Dhabi for the post-season test and give it everything on track this upcoming season!”
Rodin Motorsport’s Sporting Director Benn Huntingford,
“Confirming Martinius as our first FIA Formula 2 driver for 2026 is an exciting step for the team. He’s shown speed and maturity throughout his junior career and his debut in Baku gave a clear indication of the potential he brings. Formula 2 is a big challenge, but we’re confident he has the ability to adapt quickly and deliver strong results. We’re looking forward to supporting his development and working with him as he makes the step up.”
